Dental work ruined my face

 I had 7 crowns placed in October 6,  2023, 6 for cosmetic purposes cause the edges of my teeth were jagged from grinding during sleep. The other crown was to cover a cracked tooth on bottom. The next day I woke up with a swollen, red left cheek & swollen lips & was still feeling numbness on my top gums. I also had pain to my lips for a week whenever I drank anything. After going back to dentist, getting antibiotics & then getting antibiotics from my primary doctor, I still was slightly swollen on left side but I noticed my mouth was drooping & not moving right when I talked. I was sent to a neurologist & had a mri, nothing showed. Months later (about 6 mo) I saw another neurologist & had a face CT, nothing showed. I am still having the droop & also have a clicking sensation when I chew anything like meat or thick bread, like a bagel,  so not only do I look like I've had a stroke but Im uncomfortable when I eat.

This has been the most frustrating experience of my life, cause I am so self conscious now of my face that I've changed my hairstyle to cover the left side of my face, its just embarrassing. The clicking is uncomfortable & makes me not want to eat at all. I'm waiting for a new referral for a neurologist cause this redness & swelling to my left cheek is a daily occurrence now & it lasts an hour or 2 then goes away, 🤔 its beyond frustrating cause my face feels like its on fire when it happens. Im also gonna see a hematologist in end of july to see if they can figure out why this is happening. 

Being a medical professional myself, I have to say I'm very disappointed in my medical care & feel completely hopeless with whats occured. I don't know if I'll get any relief or go back to normal but I am just disgusted with all of it & can't trust anyone anymore.
